Loren Kinczel, Founder
Loren Kinczel founded Cultivate Financial Group LLC in 2017. He was previously Managing Director, Senior Research Analyst, and Executive Committee Member at Scharf Investments, a top-rated multibillion-dollar Registered Investment Advisor.
Loren holds multiple advisory and board positions with the University of California. These include government advisory and advocacy for the UC Office of the President, serving as a member of the UC Observatories Director's Advisory Council, and serving as Chair-Elect for the UC Santa Cruz Foundation where he previously chaired the Investment & Finance Committee and Venture Capital Working Group.
Loren graduated with honors from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
He lives in Los Gatos, California with his wife and three children.
